How It Works

You submit your film to us through FilmFreeway
2.
Whichever month you submit you film, the officially selected films will be announced on the website at the end of the following month, along with the list of winners for the 22 categories.
- All those selected can add the 'LIMMA official MONTHLY selection' laurels to their films.
- All winners also receive a downloadable certificate.
- Winners have the opportunity to purchase an official 'LIMMA' award should they so wish, which will be posted to them directly.

At the end of each year, the winners from all the previous months are reviewed, and each of the 22 categories is allocated an overall winner , chosen from the 12 monthly winners.

The annual winners will be notified by the end of January.

Tickets are released for the LIMMA Awards and after party, and all Winners are given the option of a free ticket. THIS MUST BE ACCEPTED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OR WILL BE RELEASED AS A PUBLIC TICKET. This is because some filmmakers do not attend the event, and with limited seating, we do not wish to waste precious seating availability.

With tickets sold/claimed and the date set, invites and press kits are sent out and all winners are celebrated on the website with links, interviews and photographs, before the event itself brings us all together for an April Award Ceremony and Party to congratulate those involved and highlight the contribution of micro movies in the film industry.
- All winners receive a free ticket to the screening and award ceremony/party.
- All winners receive a free award.
- All winners receive a free certificate
- All runners up receive a free certificate
- All runners up receive free screening entry plus half price award ceremony/party entry.
